1-C. RCC/Concrete Performance Enhancer Products

·         Cement-modifier waterproofing-cum-plasticizing polymers: Such products, commonly called Latex, are actually waterborne emulsions of polymers. The choice of a Polymer for adding to cement needs to be made - based on given application and service environments – out of several options like follows & more:-

·         Styrene & Pure and Vinyl type Acrylics of several kinds

·         Vinyl Co-polymers

·         Glycol based surfactants

·         Styrene Butadiene Synthetic Rubber (SBR)

·         Various Water-miscible Epoxy systems

 The added Polymers exponentially add sharp all-round increase in concrete strength parameters at dosages up to 4% of cement (by weight of solid polymers). Thereafter gradually introduces properties of given polymer into the concrete matrix over dosages up to 15% of cement (by solid-to-solid weight). Beyond, they drastically amend cement curing process – gradually leading towards a no-cure emulsified suspension situation at certain dosage above cement content.

• Anti-Carbonation Products: Saves concrete as well as reinforcement steel and embedded steel members from early destruction of cured concrete and steel due to corrosion out of acids formed through electrochemical re-combination of water/moisture diploes - resident within natural micro-pores of cured concrete - with carbonation fumes like CO⁺, CO₂, SO₂, Cl^- and so on.
